In the film, Jinyoung's role as Lee Ho Su - a lawyer and a high school classmate of Yoo Mi Ji and Yoo Mi Rae (Park Bo Young plays 2 roles) received a lot of affection from the audience thanks to the character being deeply constructed, sophisticated, with handsome appearance, gentle, profound and sincere acting.
After the work, Jinyoung will return with a new romantic project called Shining, revolving around the love story of a train driver named Yeon Tae Oh (Jinyoung) and a hotel employee Mo Eun Ah (Kim Min Ju). At the age of 19, Tae Oh had a tragic accident, losing his parents and seriously injuring his younger brother. His first love with Eun Ah also suddenly ended.
After 11 years - at the age of 30, the duo suddenly met again. Not only healing past wounds, they once again continued to write unfinished love stories. Thanks to each other, Tae Oh and Eun Ah have a "light to light up the way", and a hopeful future.
Sharing about Shining, Jinyoung expressed that this is a classic romance film. "Up to now, I have often played roles with difficult love affairs and many difficulties. But this time, I met a character that was different from the previous characters. Perhaps this will be a lighter work. The script is quite difficult, but I want to do this role well.
Besides Jinyoung, the appearance of Kim Min Ju is expected. Although he started out as an idol and was a member of IZ*ONE, Kim Min Ju attracted more or less attention when he entered the acting field. She was once highly appreciated by Newsen when she played the role of the late Ahn Ja Yeon in the movie "Banned kissing Command".
