September witnessed a series of Kpop idols releasing personal products. Notably in the list are two Blackpink members - Lisa and Jisoo - when they respectively released new products just one day apart.
On September 3, Lisa released "Sawadika". The Thai idol continues to promote her personal career in the context that Blackpink members are building their own directions in parallel with group activities.
A day later, Jisoo returned with "Click". The fact that Lisa and Jisoo continuously released products made the two Blackpink members become notable names on the solo race in early September.
However, this month's release schedule does not only revolve around Blackpink. On September 1st, Felix (Stray Kids) introduced "Slow it down", while Chung Ha released "México".
On September 3rd, there was also Kwon Eunbi, former IZ*ONE member, with "Dejavu". Donghae (Super Junior) released "Baby", featuring Chanelle Moon of Fifty Fifty.
By September 4, besides Jisoo, there was also Ten (NCT) with "Outwest". Actress Park Eun Bin also participated in the music race with the product "Dreams come true".
The following days continued to witness the return of many idols from famous music groups. Minho (SHINee) released "Make it hot" on September 7, at the same time as Soyeon of i-dle introduced a new product. D.O. (EXO) returned on September 8.
The second half of September also has a tight release schedule. Changsub (BTOB) is expected to introduce "Lee;Make (Fragmenta Amoris)" on September 15. Onew (SHINee) releases "Kakera" on September 16.
B1A4's C.NU is scheduled to make a solo debut on September 19. Niel (Teen Top) returns with "Fearless" on September 24.
On September 28, Minzy of 2NE1 is expected to release "Calling". Chanyeol (EXO) also chose this day to introduce his second Japanese mini album. Seo In Guk closes the month with "Trace" on September 30.
The release schedule shows that solo activities are increasingly becoming an important branch in the career of Kpop idols. Members of many groups from Blackpink, EXO, SHINee to Stray Kids are building their own colors, instead of just appearing in joint promotions.
With Blackpink, Jisoo and Lisa releasing products one day apart is increasingly attracting attention because both have a large number of international fans. Their continuous appearances, along with a series of names from many generations of Kpop, make September one of the periods with notable solo release schedules in the Korean music market.
