On the evening of November 29, the 45th Blue Dragon Film Awards were held in Seoul (South Korea), honoring outstanding films, actors, and faces of the year.
This year, actor Jung Hae In, born in 1988, had a great season when he won 2 awards, including Best Supporting Actor and Popular Star voted by the audience.
These victories are even more meaningful, because this is the first time Jung Hae In has won an award at Blue Dragon after 10 years of artistic activities.
After the awards ceremony, a video recording Jung Hae In's reaction when his name was announced as the winner of the Popular Star award went viral on social media.
The Popular Star Award was given to 4 actors (Koo Kyo Hwan, Jung Hae In, Lim Ji Yeon, Thang Duy).
When Koo Kyo Hwan was called first, Jung Hae In hugged Koo Kyo Hwan before the actor stepped onto the stage. But while Jung Hae In was smiling happily for his colleague, just a few seconds later, he was unexpectedly the second person to be called.
Jung Hae In was confused and didn't understand what was happening. When he turned around, he saw his colleagues clapping and congratulating him. The moment Jung Hae In changed his expression in a split second made the audience excited.

In addition, Jung Hae In, with his role in the movie “I, the Executioner” (Veteran 2), surpassed many other prominent faces including Koo Kyo Hwan (“Escape”), Park Hae Joon (“12.12: The Day”), Yoo Hae Jin (“Exhuma”) and Lee Hee Joon (“Handsome Guys”) to win the Best Supporting Actor award.
This is the most prestigious film award in Jung Hae In's career to date. In 2020, he was awarded the Best New Actor award at the Golden Bell Film Awards for his role in the film "Tune In For Love".
According to Sports Chosun, in the movie “I, the Executioner”, Jung Hae In plays Park Sun Woo, the youngest detective in the violent crime investigation team. His acting received many compliments.
Jung Hae In brought tension to the story with his many action scenes and eye-popping acting on the line between good and evil.

On stage to receive the award, Jung Hae In shared: "If you expect a lot, you will be disappointed, so I didn't expect this (award), but I'm very happy. Thank you.
There were many tense and difficult moments on set, but I persevered thanks to senior Hwang Jung Min. I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude.
I am also grateful to director Ryu Seung Wan and director Kang Hye Jung for giving me the opportunity to play Park Sun Woo, as well as the staff who worked hard with me on set.
I was born in the year of the dragon and this year is the year of the dragon. I feel like I had great luck at the Blue Dragon Film Awards. Even if it takes 12 years before I can win the next Blue Dragon, until then, I will work hard.”
