On the morning of May 19, at the Nghe An - Xo Viet Nghe Tinh Museum, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the People's Committee of Nghe An province organized the opening of the exhibition "80 years since Uncle Ho issued the National Resistance Call".
This is an activity within the series of events of the 2026 Sen Village Festival, celebrating the 136th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh.

Attending the ceremony were leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Nghe An province, along with a large number of delegates, officials, soldiers of the armed forces, youth union members and people.
The exhibition introduces hundreds of images, documents, and precious artifacts, recreating the historical context and the indomitable fighting spirit of the nation after the National Resistance Call of President Ho Chi Minh on December 19, 1946.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ms. Tran Thi My Hanh - Director of Nghe An Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism - said that the exhibition is a political and cultural activity of profound significance, contributing to enriching the activities within the framework of the 2026 Lang Sen Festival.

According to Ms. Hanh, after 80 years, the Call for National Resistance still carries a lasting value, is a sacred call of the country, arousing patriotism, national independence will and the strength of great national unity.
The exhibition helps the public relive the heroic historical moments of the nation, affirming the ideological stature, bravery, and wisdom of President Ho Chi Minh and our Party in the moment when the nation's destiny is facing arduous challenges" - Ms. Tran Thi My Hanh emphasized.
Also according to the Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An, the exhibition is an opportunity for tourists and people to better understand the homeland of President Ho Chi Minh - a land rich in historical and cultural traditions, friendly, compassionate people and rich in development potential.
Immediately after the opening ceremony, delegates and a large number of people visited the exhibition space, learned about many precious images and documents about the resistance war to protect national independence, thereby becoming more proud of the patriotic tradition and solidarity of the Vietnamese nation.
