On March 23, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee said that Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Long Bien has signed and issued a plan to implement the Strategy for developing Vietnamese cultural industries to 2030, with a vision to 2045 in the area.
According to the plan, the province's cultural industry is developed on the basis of heritage resources, cultural resources and creative motivation, associated with tourism, entertainment and industrial production.
Khanh Hoa orients development according to 4 main groups: Culture - entertainment industry, tourism, creative arts and digital cultural industry.

The goal is to form 3-5 typical national and international cultural products and brands by 2030; build at least 1 creative space, cultural industrial complex bearing the province's brand.
The province strives to become a destination for large-scale marine cultural, artistic and entertainment events; 100% of key cultural sectors have products and services applying digital technology.
Some specific targets with 5 key areas include: Performing arts reaching about 8 billion VND/year; advertising about 4.9 billion VND; television and radio 99 billion VND; cultural tourism accounting for 10% of total tourism revenue; exports of the cultural sector growing at an average of 7%/year.

By 2045, Khanh Hoa aims to become a smart city, a centrally-run city, with cultural industry and creative economy being the pillars of sustainable development.
In which, the fields of performing arts, advertising, radio and television strive to reach more than 267 billion VND; cultural exports grow by 9%/year.
The province identifies 6 priority areas: cinema attracting domestic and foreign film crews associated with tourism promotion; performing arts developing international-scale festivals such as the Sea Festival, light festival; entertainment games, software promoting game production with cultural and educational content; advertising developing in a digital direction, applying AI, Big Data, Blockchain; handicrafts developing souvenir products associated with OCOP programs; cultural tourism prioritizing products associated with heritage, cuisine and digital technology.
The locality also focuses on building a synchronous creative ecosystem from production to promotion and consumption, while strongly mobilizing socialized resources to promote development.
