The merger of Khanh Hoa and Ninh Thuan opens up a vast, continuous tourism space from islands, bays, lakes to plateaus, deserts and local culture. This helps the Tourism industry develop inter-regional tours, diversify products, extend stays and increase tourist spending.
The province and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism have organized many major events, such as the "Nha Trang Say Hi" music festival, to promote and stimulate tourism demand. Businesses are also constantly innovating, with Vinpearl launching "Tinh hoa bach nghe", That Theater with "Chum Show", and Nha Trang Ancient Craft Village launching "Legendary Light".
In parallel with cultural products, many new tours and routes have also been formed, including yacht tours exploring Nha Trang Bay.
The operation of welcoming cruise ships has been relieved of difficulties with 26 cruise ship trips, bringing nearly 30,000 international visitors ashore for sightseeing. In addition to Cam Ranh International Port, Ana Marina Nha Trang yacht wharf welcomes cruise ships for the first time, opening up more development directions for this type of high-end tourism.
Along with product diversification, promotion and advertising work has been promoted in key markets such as China, South Korea, Russia, Kazakhstan and expanded to potential markets such as Australia and Japan. Thanks to that, tourism activities have achieved quite impressive results.
According to a report by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in 2025, the whole province welcomed 16.4 million visitors, an increase of nearly 14.4% compared to 2024; of which international visitors reached 5.5 million, an increase of more than 13.4%. Total tourism revenue is estimated at 66.7 trillion VND, an increase of more than 16.8%, completing 100% of the set target.
Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa province - said that attractive products, promotion and advertising work being promoted, and the organization of many large-scale cultural and entertainment events have helped Khanh Hoa become an unmissable destination for domestic and international tourists.
On that basis, Khanh Hoa's tourism industry is preparing to enter 2026 with a proactive mindset and high expectations. The province sets a tourism revenue target of 77.073 billion VND, an increase of 15.6%; total visitors are more than 18.1 million, an increase of 10.6%, of which international visitors are more than 6 million.
To complete the goal, a series of events and tourism programs will be organized throughout the year. The province also plans to organize major events such as the Nha Trang International Light Bay Festival 2026, Nha Trang Sea Tourism Festival 2026 and activities in response to the National Tourism Year 2026.
