On January 6, a representative of Cam An Commune Police (Khanh Hoa province) said that the unit had just successfully supported the return of 18,740,000 VND to the wrong transferee, after a young woman in the area proactively reported the incident.
Previously, Ms. Tran Kim Nhung (21 years old, residing in Van Thuy 1 hamlet, Cam An commune) suddenly discovered a large amount of money transferred to her personal account but of unknown origin. Realizing that this could be money transferred by someone else mistakenly, Ms. Nhung quickly went to Cam An Commune Police to report, requesting functional agencies to verify and support the return to the owner.
Immediately after receiving the information, Cam An Commune Police proceeded to verify and determined that the person who transferred the wrong money was Mr. P.V.P, residing in Yen Lang commune, Hanoi. The cause was determined to be errors in the process of performing bank transfer transactions.
After clarifying the case, with the witness and coordination of Cam An Commune Police, the entire amount of 18,740,000 VND was fully, intact and promptly returned to Mr. P.V.P.
