Tourists prefer road tours, sea tourism
Although Hanoi and the northern highlands are the focus, traditional sea tourism centers still prove their position. The trend of " avoiding crowds" and returning to nature is still popular.
The heat of the holiday also spread strongly to the highland provinces when the ripe rice season was about to reach its most beautiful stage. It is expected that the number of tourists to Lao Cai will increase by about 15% compared to the same period last year. Key localities such as: Sa Pa, Bac Ha, along with neighboring destinations such as Muong Lo, Tram Tau, Mu Cang Chai... have planned to organize many attractive cultural activities, preparing conditions to serve tourists.
Mr. Pham Trung Hieu - Director of Ha Long adventures - commented that in Quang Ninh, the number of tourists booking tours to the islands and Ha Long Bay is still stable, although there is no longer a phenomenon of "sold out room" like the peak summer.
"Service in Quang Ninh is always ready to serve. Recently, Bai Chay has also had more weekly fireworks displays to stimulate demand. We always ensure absolute safety for tourists on island tours, with tickets including insurance, ships fully equipped with life jackets and GPS locating devices - Mr. Hieu affirmed.
The September 2 holiday in 2025 not only has great historical significance but is also the last long holiday of the year. Tourism activities are predicted to explode, not only bringing in revenue for travel and service businesses but also affirming that the tourism demand of Vietnamese people is always high, promising to end a successful summer tourism season and create momentum for the end of 2025.
