Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong has just signed and issued Official Letter No. 1487-CV/TU on disseminating and organizing the implementation of Regulation No. 231-QD/TW dated January 17, 2025 of the Politburo on protecting people fighting against corruption, waste and negativity.
Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee requests Party committees, Party organizations, agencies and units relevant to organize dissemination, propaganda, education, and seriously disseminate Regulation No. 231-QD/TW in appropriate forms, creating a positive change in the awareness and responsibility of cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees and people in implementing regulations on protection of people fighting against corruption, waste and negativity. Strengthen inspection and supervision of the organization of strict implementation of Regulation No. 231-QD/TW.
The heads of Party committees, Party organizations, agencies and units are responsible for leading, directing, and implementing Party regulations and State laws on protecting people fighting against corruption, waste and negativity. Be responsible for violations of regulations on protection of people fighting against corruption, waste and negativity at your agency or unit.
The Party Committees of the City Party Agencies and the City People's Committee direct the review, amendment, supplementation and promulgation of legal documents related to the protection of people fighting against corruption, waste and negativity; recommend competent authorities (if any) to amend, supplement and promulgate legal documents related to the protection of people fighting against corruption, waste and negativity, ensuring consistency and unity with Regulation No. 231-QD/TW.
The Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the City Party Committee shall preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies to direct and organize propaganda work on the implementation of Regulation No. 231-QD/TW and this document. Direct and orient newspapers and mass media agencies in the city to disseminate and propagate to all classes of people about the rights and responsibilities of organizations and individuals in the fight against corruption, waste and negativity; promptly reflect acts of oppression, abuse and revenge on those fighting against corruption, waste and negativity.
The Party building committees and the City Party Committee's Office; the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the city's socio-political organizations; the city's departments, branches and sectors; districts, town committees and Party committees directly under the City Party Committee lead and direct: strengthen regular inspection and supervision of the implementation of regulations; promptly detect acts of treachery, abuse, and revenge on people fighting against corruption, waste, and negativity; recommend and propose competent authorities to consider and handle them according to the provisions of law.
The City Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee shall preside over and coordinate with the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee and relevant Party committees and Party organizations to inspect and supervise the implementation of Regulation No. 231-QD/TW and this document; periodically summarize, summarize, and report to the City Party Committee Standing Committee to report to the Politburo and the Central Committee's Secretariat according to regulations.
During the implementation process, Party committees, Party organizations, agencies and units, if they discover difficulties, problems or need to amend or supplement Regulation No. 231-QD/TW, shall report to the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee (through the Inspection Committee of the City Party Committee) to recommend to competent authorities for consideration and decision.
