According to recent figures, Lisa (Blackpink)'s debut studio album "Alter ego" was released with 23,497,033 unfiltered streams on Spotify (February 28).
This achievement makes Lisa the female Kpop solo artist with the biggest album debut on Spotify in 2025 (up to now) and 2nd in the history of female Kpop solo artists after Rose ( the album "rosie" reached 33.4 million streams on December 6, 2024).
However, surprisingly, only 3 out of 15 songs from the album Alter ego entered the global Spotify chart (Top 200) on February 28 (fyled streams).
respectively, Fxck Up The World featuring Future debuted at No. 10 with 4.48 million streams, Born again featuring Doja Cat and Raye reached No. 27 with 2.96 million streams, Fxck Up The World (Vixi solo version) ranked No. 150 with 1.43 million streams.
The remaining 12 songs are under 1.3 million streams, including songs collaborating with famous international artists. Rapunzel collaborated with Megan Thee Stallion to 1.23 million streams, When I'm With You collaborated with Tyla to 1.19 million streams on the first day.
Even the 2 songs BADGRRRL and Rapunzel (Kiki solo version) did not reach 1 million streams.
Compared to the general level of Kpop solo artists, this is still a good achievement. Due to the number of streams released for the entire album, Lisa's "Alter ego" is currently ranked 4th in the history of male and female Kpop solo artists (after Jungkook - album "Golden" reached 42.7 million streams; Rose - album "rosie" reached 33.4 million streams; Jimin - album "Muse" reached 26.2 million streams).
But based on Lisa's own reputation, influence and growing fan base, this is an alarming sign.
Lisa has always been known as a female idol with an enthusiastic fan community, helping her achieve many solo records on Spotify and YouTube.
Lisa was once the fastest female K-pop solo artist to reach 1 billion streams on Spotify. Money is also the first K-pop solo song to reach 1 billion streams on Spotify (in 2023).
However, many opinions say that Lisa's fan base is unevenly distributed in different markets, which is the reason for the large difference in release achievements between songs in her debut album.

However, Thai fans cannot do everything if the fan community in other markets is not active.
This has been reflected through the difference in streamings in the album Alter ego. In the US market, on February 28, there was only one song "Fxck Up The World (ft. Future) from their debut album on the US Spotify chart.
Other figures also show that Lisa's number of fans in major markets such as China and South Korea is clearly declining. Digital album sales of Alter ego on Chinese digital music platforms only reached 55,000 copies after the first 24 hours. Physical album sales on Hanteo were low, with 30,000 copies on the first day.
Lisa needs to review the orientation for her solo career if she wants to develop as an international artist, she cannot only rely on the Thai market.
