At around 3:00 p.m. on March 6, a fire suddenly broke out at the foot of Chuong Duong Bridge (Bo De Ward, Long Bien, Hanoi).
The smoke column rose tens of meters high, covering an entire area, accompanied by a burning smell.

Mr. Bui Lam, a local resident, said that the location of the fire was an area with many plastic materials with an area of about a few square meters.
"When I arrived at the scene, I saw a woman trying to use a bucket to collect water from the Red River to put out the fire" - Mr. Lam said and added that the fire had engulfed some people around the area, causing panic.
Black smoke covered a section of the bridge, making it difficult for people to move.

After receiving the report, 4 fire trucks were mobilized to the scene to put out the fire.
However, when they arrived, the fire was controlled by the people.
The cause of the incident is being clarified by the authorities.
