According to Korea Herald, Galaxy Corporation of G-Dragon (Big Bang) announced that all ticket categories for the singer's 2 concert nights at Goyang Stadium (Korea), taking place on March 29-30, have been sold out.
Pre-sold tickets for fans club members are sold on Thursday (January 26), and general tickets for all audiences officially open for sale on Friday (February 27).
All ticket categories for about 64,000 seats in 2 nights have been sold out. Notably, the general ticket sale on Coupang Play (in Korea) witnessed 240,000 people lining up to buy tickets at the same time, and the "sold out" situation occurred after only 16 minutes.
The two shows at Goyang Stadium will open the "Ubermensch" tour - named after G-Dragon's third studio album of his career, released on February 25.

Ubermensch is the Big Bang leaders first global solo tour in 8 years, since the 2017 tour. At that time, it was the biggest tour by a Korean solo singer, with a total of 36 performances and an audience of up to 650,000 people.
However, 2 weeks ago, when the ticket price for the concert at Goyang Stadium was announced, it caused controversy.
Tickets are divided into many levels: 215,000 won (about 3.7 million VND) for VIP tickets, 182,000 won (3.1 million VND) for R tickets, 160,000 won (2.8 million VND) for S tickets and 149,000 won (2.6 million VND) for the lowest ticket class A.
This price is only for pre-sales in fanclubs. When tickets are sold publicly, each ticket class adds 5,000 won.
Many netizens on the online community lamented G-Dragon's concert ticket prices being too high. This could increase the general ticket price of the Kpop market.
However, fans of the male singer argue that, for the past 3-4 years, ticket prices for Kpop concerts have increased compared to before, not just G-Dragon's concerts. And the controversial people are not real fans, and have no intention of buying tickets.
Many G-Dragon fans said that they are willing to spend a large amount of money, feeling it is worth it because this is an important concert marking the return of the male singer.
This was proven when VIP tickets for the 2 shows at Goyang were sold out in just a few seconds.

Galaxy Corp has not announced the next stages of the "Ubermensch" tour, but fans expect G-Dragon's concerts to be expanded, because the audience has been waiting for him for a long time.
Last week, Hankyung reported that the Chinese government is planning to lift the Korean cultural ban as soon as possible in May 2025.
If the ban is truly lifted after 8 years, Kpop artists and groups will be able to resume holding concerts in mainland China, and G-Dragon is the most anticipated name.
With the release of the album Ubermensch and 2 MVs Too Bad and Drama, G-Dragon once again proved that he is a top famous Kpop artist in the billion-people market.
Ubermensch is the fastest album by a Korean solo artist to achieve diamond certification on QQ Music (the most popular music streaming service in China), after only 2 hours of opening for sale.
As of March 1, G-Dragon became the first Korean solo artist to achieve a gold diamond certification on QQ Music, with a profit of 15 million yen from sales of 500,000 copies.
The MV "Drama" is still at No. 1 on QQ Music. Previously, this MV caused a fever in China as soon as it was released because of a Chinese song appeared.

At the end of last year, the two opening songs of the album Ubermensch, Power and Home Sweet Home, swept the Chinese music charts and awards ceremonies.
These are the 2 best-selling Kpop singles in China in 2024: "Home Sweet Home" sold 1,365,000 copies, "Power" sold 906,000 copies.
