On the 3rd day of the Tet 2026 box office race, 4 works including "Thỏ ơi!! ", "Nhà ba tôi một phòng", "Mùi phở" and "Báu vật trời cho" simultaneously accelerated promotion.
While "Thỏ ơi!!" has reached a revenue milestone of 100 billion VND, "Nhà ba tôi một phòng" reached 35 billion VND, "Báu vật trời cho" reached 18 billion VND, "Mùi phở" is temporarily ranked last with revenue of 14 billion VND, as of the afternoon of February 19, i.e., the 3rd day of the Lunar New Year, according to data from Box Office Vietnam.
At the exchange on February 18 in Hanoi, the appearance of Mr. Kim Jin Geun, General Director of Lotte Entertainment Vietnam, attracted the attention of the audience.
Notably, after the speech, he suddenly knelt down and bowed to the entire audience, making many people stunned before applause rang out. This moment is considered an expression of respect and determination for the journey of "Mui Pho" at the box office.

Sincerely wishing to receive the support of "Mui pho" so that Vietnamese cultural values are not forgotten, and at the same time, it is a traditional Tet wish from Korea sent to everyone," he said.
At the event, Mr. Kim Jin Geun mentioned kimchi - a familiar dish of Korea - as a typical example. He shared that two decades ago, kimchi was not widely known in the world, but now it has become a global cultural symbol of Korea.
According to him, this shows that South Korea is not only developing economically but also successful in promoting national identity through art and media, especially cinema.
From that story, the General Director of Lotte Entertainment Vietnam expressed his belief in Vietnam's potential. He believes that Vietnam possesses a rich culture and cuisine, a long history and strong national pride - factors sufficient to create sustainable spillover effects.
He also emphasized his belief in cinema as a bridge to promote identity, and that is why he and Lotte Entertainment decided to accompany "Mui Pho" in the journey to bring Vietnamese stories closer to the public.
As of the afternoon of February 19, "Mui Pho"'s revenue showed signs of slowing down due to insufficient media effects and limited screenings.
The film is released during the Binh Ngo Tet holiday, exploiting intergenerational conflicts in a family that traditionally makes pho.
The character Mr. Mui played by Meritorious Artist Xuan Hinh is a long-time pho shop owner, always struggling to find a successor when his son is determined to pursue painting.

After Mr. Dan (played by Quoc Tuan) - the owner of the pho shop opposite - passed away, Mr. Mui became even more worried about passing on the profession.
He decided to bring his grandson, baby Sá Sùng (Bảo Nam), into the kitchen, but faced opposition from his daughter-in-law Trinh (played by Thu Trang). From then on, a series of funny and tearful situations between father-in-law and daughter-in-law continuously occurred.
