On December 25, Korean time, the members of NewJeans appeared on the second segment of CBS Radio's "Kim Hyun Jung's News Show."
Here, they share their thoughts on the past year and their aspirations for the year ahead. Notably, they don't use their group name "NewJeans," but instead participate under their own names — Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein.
Hanni expressed her wish for 2025, saying, "I hope we can have a big stage performance in Korea. When I say a big stage, I don't just mean a large audience, but a performance where I can show my best."
The idol added, "Just like we did at Tokyo Dome this year, I want to put on a great performance in Korea.
We don't have any plans yet, but imagining such a stage makes me excited. I hope we can get together with the Bunnies (our fandom) and do it soon."
NewJeans has been pursuing independent activities since announcing the termination of its exclusive contract with ADOR on November 29. However, ADOR has disputed this, claiming that the contract is still valid and has filed a lawsuit to confirm the validity of the contract.
