NewJeans receives surprise award after returning to ADOR

NewJeans was honored in the "Trend of the Year" category at the Korean Grand Music Awards 2025 with iM Bank (KGMA 2025.

This is an award based on the results of the "Trend of the Month" votes that have been held continuously throughout the year, recognizing artists who have led outstanding trends in Korean pop music.

According to the organizers, the monthly public voting system shows that NewJeans always maintains a stable level of influence, thereby leading to the highest accumulation score in the K-pop group category. This achievement follows two important awards that the group received at KGMA last year, including the Best Artist award, once again affirming NewJeans' appeal in the international music market.

Over the past year, NewJeans' songs have continuously appeared on many domestic and global charts, showing their ability to maintain sustainable coverage. The combination of unique music style, youthful image and a large fan base continues to create a special influence for the group in the K-pop industry.

The new award comes at a time when all NewJeans members have just officially returned to their management company ADOR after a series of internal changes. ADOR representative confirmed that there will be separate working sessions and meetings with each member to develop an action plan in the coming time.

Fans now expect the Trend of the Year award to open a new stage of development for NewJeans, and create a premise for the groups next music products in 2025.
