On January 22, the Dak Lak Museum said that the unit had just organized the opening of the lacquer painting exhibition "Marks in the Great Forest" by artist Truong Van Linh.
The exhibition introduces 35 lacquer works selected from many creative stages by artist Truong Van Linh.

Artworks focus on reflecting the majestic and unique beauty of the Central Highlands nature; the daily life, labor, and festivals of ethnic minorities, along with the personal reflections and contemplations of artists in the vast forest space.
Through the expressive visual language, each work is like a slice of memory, contributing to depicting the cultural depth and spiritual life of the Central Highlands region.
The highlight of the exhibition is the way traditional lacquer material is exploited in a modern direction. The artist flexibly uses lacquer, embossing, color coating techniques, combined with tight composition, creating a visual effect that is both deep, powerful and liberal.
Many artworks show the harmony between classical shaping and contemporary art thinking.
Artist Truong Van Linh said that each work is the result of a persistent artistic labor process, long-term attachment to the Central Highlands; at the same time, they are "signs" that preserve memories, traditions and the silent rhythm of life of the great forest land.
The exhibition takes place until the end of February 28, 2026, freely open to serve people and tourists.
