Hoa Minzy's MV Bac Bling continues to grow in views, firmly holding the No. 1 position in popular music on YouTube. Throughout social networks, the MV about Hoa Minzy's hometown of Bac Ninh also received many compliments for the level of investment in the image.
Each scene shows the sophistication, meticulousness and has a message about the culture and unique landscape of Kinh Bac.
In particular, the scene of the old lady with her teeth dyed black, smiling brightly is considered the most beautiful scene in Bac Bling (Bac Ninh).
This scene reminds me of the beautiful, emotional verses in Hoang Cam's poem "The Other side of the Duong River".
... Who goes to the other side of the Duong River
Remember each lotus bud face
Black tooth decanters
laughing like the radiant autumn sunshine...
Poet Hoang Cam's real name is Bui Tang Viet, born in Lac Tho village, now Song Ho commune, Thuan Thanh district, Bac Ninh, in a poor Nho family who made a living as an expert in Chinese medicine. He wrote poetry from the age of eight to eight, and was published since the years 1937. The nickname Hoang Cam comes from the name of a precious medicine owner.
The poem On the other side of the Duong River was composed in 1948 when Hoang Cam was in the Viet Bac battle zone. He composed the poem when he heard that his hometown was occupied and destroyed by the enemy. The poem is filled with nostalgia and memories of Hoang Cam about Kinh Bac. On the other side of the Duong River, which is said to have opened the Kinh Bac period, the Kinh Bac space is filled with the anxiety of Hoang Cam.
Amidst the space of fire and smoke, Kinh Bac is still lit up by the indomitable beauty of "set buds", "the women with black teeth, laughing like the morning sunshine".

The beauty of a black tooth smile has been included in Vietnamese poetry through many periods and stages. No one remember clearly when Vietnamese women dyed black teeth, only know that the customs of dyeing teeth of ancient women are associated with the habit of eating betel. Black toothbrush "but painful" used to be one of the important measures to assess the beauty and beauty of ancient women.
The Vietnamese poet has witnessed the sparkling of black tooth smiles "shining" like that many times, like in the song "New Sun" by Luu Trong Lu, when he missed his mother:
... "My mother's figure is blurred
Just imagine going in and out:
Black smile on the back of the shirt
In the summer afternoon before the solstice
Over time, black tooth smile became a symbol of the beauty of Vietnamese women in the distant past, the era of "grandmother, great-grandmother". generations 8X and 7X when watching Hoa Minzy's MV Bac Bling reminded them of their grandmothers. Maybe, the grandparents of the 7X and 8X are the last generation to preserve a radiant black tooth smile.
Many accounts have taken photos of the old lady smiling in the MV Bac Bling (Bac Ninh) and then shared them on their personal pages with the message, "Remember me". Accountant Nguyen Thuy wrote, "Seeing Hoa Minzy's MV Bac Bling for a few days, I stopped at this smile. How beautiful a black tooth smile. Beautiful like a grandmother, a grandmother, beautiful like a child, looking at her "Ngay len dai hat/Ba Nang Nang mat chieu".
The black tooth smile reminds me of the generation of grandparents, great-grandmothers, of women who were very distant in the past but always sparkling in poetry and sparkling in the childhood memories of many people.
