Miss World Vietnam attracted attention when gathering many young contestants from provinces and cities across the country. The representative of Hai Phong this year has three faces including Le Phuong Quyen (2003), Tran Phuong Thao (2005) and Pham Thuy Dung (2006). Among them, Pham Thuy Dung attracted attention not only because of her beauty but also because of her everyday story full of energy.
Possessing a height of 1.75 m and a balanced figure, long straight legs, Pham Thuy Dung is currently a 2nd year student of the Faculty of Law, Vietnam National University of Agriculture. However, behind that outstanding appearance is a difficult childhood.
Thuy Dung was born into an incomplete family when her parents divorced early, each person has their own life. She lives with her mother and uncle. To make a living, her mother does many manual jobs such as collecting scrap iron, scrap metal, selling gasoline. On holidays, she follows her mother to weigh scrap metal, helping with work in the harsh summer sun.
I have never been ashamed because my mother goes to collect scrap metal and scrap iron. I cherish the money my mother earns and consider my mother as the greatest source of motivation to strive every day," Thuy Dung shared.

What impressed many people was that she did not avoid family circumstances. On the contrary, Thuy Dung once introduced her mother's work to teachers and friends with pride. According to her, it was the years of growing up in difficulty that helped her cultivate self-reliance, strength and know how to cherish every opportunity.
“I grew up in everyday life, where hardship appears in every look and smile. Every time I see difficult circumstances, I ask myself what I can do to help them better. Perhaps that is what brought me to the competition – not to shine alone but so that my little light can reach hearts that need to be shared,” she said.
Coming to Miss World Vietnam 2025, Thuy Dung admitted that she does not have many conditions to prepare like other contestants. However, she wants to experience, learn and grow through each competition.
In the Compassionate Beauty category, she brought the project "Red Thread" - a journey of listening, understanding and accompanying leprosy patients. The project was implemented by her earlier, with the desire to contribute to eliminating prejudice and spreading sympathy in the community.
From March 1st to March 29th, 2026, Miss World Vietnam 2025 contestants will continue to enter a series of sub-competitions such as Head To Head Challenge, Miss Talent, Miss Sports, Miss Charity and the art program Dances Of Vietnam.
