The number of tourists increased sharply on the opening day of the spring festival
The Nui Ba Den Spring Festival 2026 with the theme "Colors of Tay Ninh" officially opened on February 20 (4th day of Tet), attracting a large number of tourists to visit, pilgrimage and experience cultural activities at the beginning of the year.
Right from the morning of the 4th day of Tet, the roads leading to Sun World Ba Den Mountain tourist area recorded a high increase in the number of people flocking there. The foot of the mountain area and the cable car station square - where the opening ceremony of the spring festival takes place - gathered many tourists to participate in festival activities combined with pilgrimage at the beginning of the year.
On the same evening, the opening ceremony was held in the central square with a large-scale stage. The participation of artists such as Tung Duong, Duong Hoang Yen and Nguyen Tran Trung Quan brought musical performances combining modern and traditional elements. The art fireworks program closed the opening night, serving the entertainment needs of people and tourists.


At an altitude of nearly 1,000 m, the mountain peak area continues to welcome a large number of tourists to visit and worship the Ba Pagoda system associated with the legend of Linh Son Thanh Mau.
In the complex of spiritual works here, there is a bronze statue of the Western Lady Bodhisattva placed on the top of the mountain and a large-scale sandstone statue of Maitreya Bodhisattva of Ba Den Mountain. This year, the statue of the Buddha Cau Na Ham Mau Ni is also chosen by many tourists as a place to offer incense and pray at the beginning of the year.
Landscape space serving tourists at the beginning of spring
On this occasion, the mountain peak area is decorated with tens of thousands of tulips blooming simultaneously. Small landscapes with the traditional Tet flavor such as lantern areas, calligraphy corners or lion and dragon models are arranged in many locations to serve the sightseeing and photography needs of tourists.

In addition to the landscape, the culinary area at the tourist area also serves many local dishes such as Trang Bang banh canh, pho and elevated coffee spaces for visitors to rest and admire the scenery. In the evening, a water music program in the square area in front of the Maitreya Bodhisattva statue continues to be organized to serve visitors.

After the opening ceremony, the spring festival is expected to last throughout January with folk art programs such as Chhay Dam drum dance, Khmer dance and five-tone music performances, serving the needs of sightseeing and spring travel of people and tourists in the Southern region at the beginning of the year.
