Recently, Netflix Korea released a video related to the movie Squid Game 3, starring 4 actors Im Si Wan, Jo Yuri, Park Sung Hoon and Kang Ae Shim.
The video recorded the actors' reactions when watching the standout scenes in Squid Game 3 together.
Notably, the video features the final scene of player 120 Hyun Ju (played by Park Sung Hoon), a transgender character that has been loved by many people since part 2.
In the game of escape, Hyun Ju has found a way out. She should have been able to escape safely alone, but Hyun Ju decided to go back to take Mrs. Geum Ja (Kang Ae Shim) and mother and child Jun Hee (Jo Yuri) with her.
At the moment Huyn Ju stepped out of the gate in the hope of going through, she was suddenly stabbed to death by player 333 Myung Gi (Im Si Wan) with a knife.
Hyun Ju's passing shocked the audience and pushed the ethical issue of the character Myung Gi to the top.
Park Sung Hoon explained about the scene: "The director asked if I could shed a tear before I collapsed, and the first scene went well."
Im Si Wan - playing Myung Gi, who stabbed Hyun Ju - was also very moved by this violent scene. He asked, "Why did Myung Gi have to do that?". After that, Park Sung Hoon joked, "Because I agreed to join the show", making everyone laugh.

In particular, Park Sung Hoon revealed that he filmed the death scene of the two films on the same day.
"At that time, I filmed the death scene at Daejeon studio (Squid Game 3), then I went to Jeongseon, Gangwon-do to film the death scene of the character Yoon Eun Sung in the movie Queen of Tears.
It is a coincidence that the two death scenes were made on the same day. I still clearly remember filming consecutive emotional and difficult scenes in both films, the actor shared.
Kang Ae Shim wiped away tears expressing sympathy.
Actress Jo Yuri said that although she had known about the scene before reading the script, until it was edited through post-production and broadcast, she was still shocked. Jo Yuri described the death of the character Hyun Ju as too cruel.

Throughout the 2 and 3 parts of Squid Game, player 120 Hyun Ju played by Park Sung Hoon was the most popular character. Hyun Ju's initial context was impressive, she was a transgender woman competing to win money for gender reassignment surgery.
In the game, Hyun Ju shows himself to be an honest but intelligent, strong and experienced combat player who has served in the army.
Park Sung Hoon once caused concern because he is a male actor who plays a transgender person. However, Park Sung Hoon's acting has conquered the audience, bringing an unforgettable role.
In Park Sung Hoon's recent works, he mainly plays the villain role (The Glory, Queen of Tears). Hyun Ju is among the actor's few favorite main characters.
Therefore, the sudden passing of Hyun Ju in Squid Game 3 is even more regrettable, even though the audience understands that the film revolves around survival games and that players who die can be predicted.
