On the evening of April 28, the Kien Giang Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center coordinated with the Association of Professional Tour Guides of Phu Quoc City to organize a Gala dinner program to celebrate the Famtrip program, to introduce tourism products of Phu Quoc pearl island.
The activity is within the framework of the Phu Quoc Cultural Tourism and Culinary Festival, taking place from April 29 to May 1, 2025.
The program has the participation of more than 50 delegates from travel companies, travel agencies, tourism associations and media units nationwide. Delegates heard about many typical tourism products and destinations of Phu Quoc, promoting tourism potential, creating bridges between businesses, promoting market expansion and increasing the number of tourists coming to Phu Quoc.
Mr. Do Trong Hiep - Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Tourism Association said: "We have been to Phu Quoc 3 times, each time we visit, we see innovation and development. Especially today, hearing directly the introduction of service providers, restaurants, and tourist destinations, we feel that the quality of services as well as the destinations of Phu Quoc are very unique. I really hope this trip will have practical experiences to build suitable tour programs.
Through the destination survey activity to introduce and support travel agencies in building new and potential tourism products of Phu Quoc pearl island. Thereby also improving the quality of services, bringing unique and attractive experiences to tourists.
Mr. Truong Cong Tam - Chairman of the Association of Professional Tour Guides of Phu Quoc City shared: "I always hope to implement more tourism stimulus development programs like this to join hands to help the Pearl Island develop more strongly and reach international standards. From now until the 2027 APEC conference, we will strive to develop the association's international tour guide team to become stronger and stronger, gradually increasing the number to affirm to international friends that Phu Quoc is a beautiful island located on the world tourism map".
This is also an opportunity for local tourism to connect with businesses to exploit and develop new tour routes in the coming time.

On this occasion, the Phu Quoc City Association of Professional Tour Guides and tourism and travel associations signed a strategic cooperation agreement to coordinate and develop tourism between Phu Quoc and provinces and cities across the country, in order to develop Phu Quoc's tourism activities more and more in the future.
At the same time, tighten and connect the Association with strategic partners, creating a solid foundation for the sustainable development of the local tourism industry, towards the 2027 APEC Summit taking place in Phu Quoc.
