The 34th highly anticipated Seoul Music Awards took place on the evening of June 21, 2025, at the iconic inspire Arena in Incheon, South Korea.
After nearly 5 months of delay, this became a memorable night and a celebration of the great achievements that K-pop artists have achieved, where Blackpink's Rose has received special attention and was welcomed by global audiences for her two great victories as a solo artist.
Rose became the only female K-pop solo artist to win a Bonsang at this year's Seoul Music Awards, and was also honored with the " world's Best Artist Award" for the records she achieved through the highly rated album "rosie" and the songs in that album.
Rose is a New Zealand singer and dancer of Korean descent. Rose signed a contract with South Korean company YG Entertainment after a successful audition in 2012 and trained for four years before debuting as a member of the girl group Blackpink in August 2016.
