A representative of YG Entertainment responded to the news that Blackpink will return in July.

On June 19, Korean time, it was reported that Blackpink's new single will be released in early July.

In response, YG Entertainment briefly shared: "We will notify you through the group's official promotion schedule".

Previously, sources said that the members of Blackpink started filming the MV again earlier this month on June 6, Korean time. YG also confirmed that this information is correct, adding that Blackpink will collaborate with a famous international director for this comeback.

Meanwhile, Blackpink's 2025 world tour called "Deadline" will start at Goyang Stadium in Goyang from July 5 to 6.

Blackpink is a South Korean girl group formed and managed by YG Entertainment in 2016, consisting of four members Jisoo, Jennie, Rose and Lisa. The group debuted in August 2016 with the single album Square One, including two songs "Whistle" and "Boombayah", respectively reaching number one on the Gaon Digital Chart of Korea and the Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart.
