This year, the festival is organized according to the "green festival - no waste" model, aiming at an environmentally friendly living experience. Along with that, the program "Love kitchen - 1,000 Free Meals" carries the message of sharing, spreading the spirit of humanity to the community.
According to Mr. Nguyen Tan Viet - Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Food Association, the festival will continue the success of 2023, gathering more than 200 booths from famous restaurants, chefs, businesses and vegetarian brands. Not only is it a place to honor the quintessence of Vietnamese vegetarian cuisine, the unit wishes to spread a green lifestyle, encouraging the community to choose a healthier and more sustainable way of life.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hang - Vice Chairman of Binh Phu Ward People's Committee - affirmed that this is not only an opportunity for people and tourists to enjoy sophisticated vegetarian cuisine, but also an opportunity to work together to build a green, waste-free, loving and sharing community.
On an area of over 7 hectares, the festival opens up a green food space - creative vegetarian cuisine, an exhibition area for OCOP - organic - nutritional - recycled products, along with a series of cultural and artistic programs, talkshows, workshops and culinary performances. The series of rich programs brings a multi-dimensional experience to visitors. In particular, many speakers from the US, India, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Brazil... will share about the global green culinary trend.
