From the resounding Tien Quan Ca opening the independent era to the Session of Aspiration in the new era, the Vietnamese people have written a heroic, tragic and glorious version of the song.
The Minister emphasized the significance of the program not only performing musical works, dances, echoing profound verses, but also a deep gratitude to previous generations who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
Music is a wonderful beat, where the love of a gentle mother is vast and protective; where the Aspiration of Youth and the passionate, burning love of a couple are blended in the sacred and immortal love of the Fatherland.

The national concert "80 years of independence - freedom - Happiness" is an important political and cultural event of the country, aiming to review the glorious history of the nation, honor the achievements of 80 years of building and developing the country, and at the same time arouse pride and aspiration to rise up in every Vietnamese people.
The program is chaired by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Vietnam Dance and Drama Theater, with the coordination of many major artistic units: Vietnam Symphony orchestra, Vietnam National Academy of Music, Vietnam Dance Academy, Hanoi University of Theatre and Cinema.
The program was elaborately staged and on a grand scale with the participation of nearly 3,000 professional and amateur artists, along with orchestra, conductor and mass actors from many major art institutions across the country.
