Within the framework of the 12th Global cities Tourism Promotion Organization (TPO), Ho Chi Minh City was honored as an outstanding city (TPO Best) in the Tourism Marketing Award category with the campaign "Find your vibes".
The award aims to recognize creative and sustainable tourism policies, as well as efforts to enhance the brand value of destinations in member cities. This award is a testament to the success of a well-implemented marketing campaign, demonstrating the city's unique identity on an international scale.
The campaign "Finding the right quality, touching the right feeling" is considered a strong and creative marketing initiative, successful in grasping the dual identity of Ho Chi Minh City: both imbued with traditional cultural heritage and a modern and dynamic super city.
The campaign has created clear impacts, recognized by the international tourism community. The core strength of the campaign lies in creative storytelling, global reach and effective strategic partnerships.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Hoa - Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism shared that this award has affirmed the right direction when choosing the method of close cooperation between state management agencies, tourism businesses and the community.
"This unanimous act has helped us build high-quality tourism products and effective product marketing campaigns, bringing the image of Ho Chi Minh City to international friends, contributing to enhancing the position of the city's tourism on the world tourism map" - Ms. Anh Hoa commented.
Other cities also honored in this category include Taiping (Malaysia) with the 150th Anniversary Campaign of Taiping, and Taipei (China) with the Lantern Festival 2024.
