Over the past century, Vietnam University of Fine Arts has continuously created, nurtured and developed. We have gone through challenging historical periods, from the arduous years of the resistance war, when teachers and students of the school together made efforts to bring art to serve the revolution, to the decades of building the country after the war and until today, in the era of integration and development. Each stage marks the silent but extremely meaningful contributions of generations of artists, lecturers, and students of the school to the common cause of the country.
This workshop is a forum for us to analyze and deeply evaluate the historical milestones, outstanding achievements and continuous contributions of the School through the ages".

The content of the workshop was divided into 3 parts, including general issues about Vietnam University of Fine Arts; Vietnam University of Fine Arts in the 100-year journey of creating modern Vietnamese fine arts; Vietnam University of Fine Arts in the current context - the issue of training, exchange and cooperation.
These presentations are not only a valuable source of documents recording the 100-year journey of maturity, accompanying the history of the country, but they are also new suggestions for the development of training, composition and research in fine arts.
In the new context, along with international integration and diverse artistic development, this conference will contribute to helping the school position existing values and integrate more deeply with the world.
