On February 2, the Department of Tourism of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province said that during the 5 days of the Lunar New Year (from January 29 to noon February 2), the total number of spring tourists in the area and tourism revenue both increased compared to the same period.
Statistics show that the whole province welcomed an estimated 773,523 visitors; an increase of more than 13%; total revenue of more than 747.1 billion VND, an increase of 33.79% over the same period.
Of which, Vung Tau City is estimated to welcome about 127,800 visitors, with revenue of nearly 157.5 billion VND. Long Dat District welcomed 207,955 visitors, with revenue of nearly 175.2 billion VND. Xuyen Moc District took the lead with more than 300,600 visitors, with revenue of more than 333 billion VND.
In general, the reception and service of tourists in the area is good, the emergency team is on duty properly, ensuring the safety of tourists swimming and enjoying spring. Environmental sanitation, security and order, and price posting are well implemented.
This year, the number of tourists and tourism revenue is highest in Xuyen Moc district because this locality and businesses have coordinated to organize many check-in and entertainment activities... during Tet. At the same time, Vung Tau city is affected because construction is underway on most of the length of Bai Sau area.
