On November 23, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee held a press conference to inform about the organization of the Southeast Asian gong Festival in 2025.
Accordingly, the 2025 Southeast Asian gong Festival has the theme: resounding Heritage - Connecting the Future, expected to take place from December 18, 2025 to January 2, 2026 at Lam Vien Square, Xuan Huong - Da Lat Ward (Lam Dong).
According to the Organizing Committee, the highlight of the Festival will be the "Southeast Asian gong Harmony Festival 2025" which is scheduled to take place on the evening of December 20.

The festival night will connect the gong cultural space with contemporary music, creating a regional-scale performance.
According to information from the Organizing Committee, the festival will have the participation of 3 Korean gong artists in the Central Highlands; 2 Korean gong artists in Phu Tho province; 6 Korean gong artists in Lam Dong province, along with hundreds of artisans and actors participating in the program.
In particular, the festival will feature 5 Korean gong artists from Southeast Asia including Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand.
According to the Organizing Committee, within the framework of the program, Lam Dong province is also expected to set records for: "largest gong performance space, largest combination of culture and art" and "Musical work with the largest and most crowded gong performance".

In addition, there are also programs and activities accompanying the Festival with many brocade fashion shows; Global Coffee Heritage Festival 2025; international seminars, cultural - tourism experience spaces...
Speaking at the press conference, Mr. Nguyen Van Loc, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province, said: The 2025 Southeast Asian gong Festival is one of the province's key cultural and tourism activities. The festival takes place in a meaningful context as we are looking forward to the 20th Anniversary of the Central Highlands Ceng squad Cultural Space being honored by UNESCO as a masterpiece of the Traditional and Intangible Heritage of Humanity.
Through the Festival, the value of the Central Highlands gong Cultural Space Heritage is widely honored and promoted; at the same time, it affirms the respect and responsibility of the locality in preserving, conserving and promoting the cultural heritage values of ethnic minorities.
This is also an opportunity for international cultural exchanges, enhancing understanding, cooperation and connection between ethnic communities in Southeast Asia and the world; at the same time, introducing the beauty of Lam Dong culture, people, music and tourism closer to domestic and international friends.
In addition, this is also one of the activities demonstrating the commitment of Da Lat - Lam Dong in the UNESCO Creative Cities in the field of Music Network.
According to the Organizing Committee, director Le Minh Son was invited by the local government to be the general director for the Kong Chieng Festival program.
