On November 23, Lam Dong Department of Construction said that the Ministry of Construction had issued an urgent dispatch, requesting Project Management Board 85 to speed up the repair work to ensure temporary traffic opening on Mimosa Pass before November 30, 2025.

Mimosa Pass belongs to the project to renovate and upgrade the section through Mimosa Pass and some works on National Highway 20, Lam Dong Province, invested by Project Management Board 85 (Ministry of Construction).
Due to the impact of heavy rains lasting from November 18 to 19, at Km 226+600 to Km 226+800 on Mimosa Pass, the negative slope and the roadbed have been eroded, creating deep holes and cracks, completely cutting off traffic on the route.

Immediately after the incident, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee issued a Decision to declare a natural disaster emergency at Mimosa Pass and National Highway 20. At the same time, Lam Dong Department of Construction directed the direction of traffic flow and prohibit vehicles from traveling through the danger zone.
Regarding the landslide repair work, the Ministry of Construction has issued an urgent dispatch, requesting Project Management Board 85 to speed up the repair work to ensure temporary traffic opening on Mimosa Pass before November 30.
The Minister of Construction also directed Project Management Board 85 to review the entire Mimosa Project, detect potential points with unsafe risks to have timely solutions to ensure long-term safety.

Lam Dong province and relevant agencies are requested to prioritize support in materials and human resources so that emergency projects can be implemented quickly.
Thereby, promptly restoring the main route, ensuring safety and smooth traffic in the area, ensuring socio-economic development.
