People's Artist Do Quoc Hung, Director of the Vietnam National Academy of Music, officially received the appointment decision from Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong.
People's Artist Quoc Hung affirmed that this is a great honor and a heavy responsibility, and pledged to make every effort to successfully complete the assigned tasks.
Born in 1970 in Dong Anh (Hanoi), People's Artist Quoc Hung has been attached to the Vietnam National Academy of Music since the early 1990s when he studied vocal performance at the Hanoi Conservatory of Music - the predecessor of the Vietnam National Academy of Music.
Here, he completed his intermediate, university, postgraduate programs and successfully defended his Doctorate in Music thesis.
The male artist's research work " training Opera singers in Vietnam" has been published in books, making practical contributions to the field of domestic academic music training.
With a rare deep bass voice, People's Artist Quoc Hung is one of the leading male voices in Vietnamese classical music. He won the first prize in the National House Singing - Music Department ( (2000), silver award (2000) and gold award (2004) at the Binh Nhuong Spring International Music Festival (Korea).
On stage, People's Artist Quoc Hung made his mark through classic roles such as figaro in the play Figaro's Bride (Mozart), or aria "Vous Qui Faites L'endormie" in Faust (Gounod).

In 2019, he was awarded the title of People's Artist by the State.
