On March 15, information from the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee said that the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee has agreed on the policy of organizing the Cua Lo Tourism Festival in 2026.
According to Notice No. 223-TB/TU, at the meeting on March 6, after listening to the Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee report on the draft plan to organize the Cua Lo Tourism Festival in 2026 and the discussion opinions of delegates, the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee agreed on the policy of organizing the event according to the proposal of the Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee.
The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee assigned the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee to lead the Provincial People's Committee to develop specific plans, direct relevant levels, sectors and localities to organize the Festival effectively, creating highlights for the province's tourism activities.

To prepare for the event, the province requests to focus on urban embellishment and infrastructure to serve sea tourism, especially renovating and upgrading the transportation system, public lighting system; investing and completing the performance stage on the beach. Along with that is to regularly maintain beach cleaning activities, building a green - clean - beautiful urban landscape.
The province also emphasized building a friendly, civilized, safe, and hospitable Cua Lo tourism culture; and at the same time strengthening promotion and promoting communication to attract tourists.
In addition to the main activities, the province orients research to expand and diversify tourism products and events, such as: culinary heritage festivals; displaying and introducing typical OCOP products of localities; organizing sports competitions including golf, water motorbike, international beach volleyball, marathon running and some beauty contests.
In addition, Nghe An also orients the development of fishing village tourism, coastal roads; promotes the implementation of building spiritual tourist destinations in the Ngu Island area, and at the same time strengthens the connection between typical tourist destinations and routes inside and outside the province to create a diverse chain of experiences for tourists.
