Top 100 World DJ 2017: Garrix is number 1, Armin climbs to number 3

Recently, DJ Mag announced the Top 100 DJs in the world in 2017 and the top name is still Martin Garrix. The two DJs who are receiving a lot of attention from EDM Vietnam fans because they are about to have a show in Vietnam at the end of this year are Armin Van Buuren and Tiesto, ranked No. 3 and No. 5 respectively.

According to experts, while Martin Garrix once again won the top spot in the world DJ rankings this year, Armin is the notable figure and received high admiration. Because this year, despite turning 40, this Dutch DJ is still strongly climbing from 4th to 3rd place easily, marking his 16th "competent appearance in the top" on this chart over the past 16 years.

Armin's extremely impressive achievements made many "younger brothers" lose their wishes and the world's fans love him so much. Even the demanding judges of DJ Mag had to exclaim: We have to admit that our rankings always have to leave room for Armin.

2017 is considered a flourishing year for Armin, when the DJ with appearance and taste of playing music only half of his real age took on 2 consecutive Armin Only shows in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, creating unprecedented ticket fever and was highly appreciated by experts last May. It is estimated that up to 80,000 fans from 97 different countries filled the central Madrid Arena stadium during Armin's two shows to witness their idol playing endless, captivating music sets.

In addition, the livestream of these two shows through arminonly.tv, Facebook Live and RTL4 channels of Dutch TV stations attracted up to 4.8 million viewers around the world and brought great "comfort" to fans who could not buy tickets to the live show.

Therefore, the news of Armin's promotion at DJ Mag 2017 made Vietnamese EDM fans more excited to welcome this DJ's show, which will take place in mid-December in Ho Chi Minh City.

The Belgian duo - Dimitri Vegas and Mike Like still hold on to the No. 2 spot. Standing in 4th and 5th place are hardwell and Tiesto respectively. Thus, hardwell has dropped 1 place to make room for his "old man" Armin, while Tiesto is still firmly in 5th place - a position he has held since 2014.

The remaining positions in the top 10 of the 2017 DJ Mag 100 rankings belong to The Chainsmokers, David Guetta, Afrojack, Steve Aoki and Marshmello.
