This is an activity in the series of the 17th Dong A School's Job Fair, aiming to open the international job door for students right before the graduation ceremony.
The event attracted the participation of many representatives from the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) in Hanoi, the Consulate General of Japan in Da Nang City, departments of the city, universities and more than 20 Japanese enterprises. Hundreds of students majoring in Japanese have been enthusiastically participating both in person and online.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Mori Takero - Consulate General of Japan in Da Nang City, highly appreciated the achievements and deep relationships of Dong A University with Japan, especially in internship and employment programs.
The festival brings 523 recruitment positions from 15 Japanese enterprises, with a variety of industries. In particular, 6 new cooperation agreements in the fields of medicine, training, internship and work in Japan for students in the fields of Nursing, Information Technology, Tourism, Japanese Language, Automotive, Electrical - Electronics have been signed. New partners include Quoc Hoc founded Nagoya, Kake Gakuen Education Group, Vector Shinwa Company, Sun Wellbening Company - Mikazuki Hotel - Mediva, DGF Company, Chef Meat Vietnam Joint Stock Company. This raises the total number of Japanese business partners of Dong A University to more than 150.
Notable among the cooperation is the project to establish a Japanese standard clinic at Mikazuki Hotel Da Nang, with a total estimated investment of nearly 100 billion VND (500 million yen). This project is implemented by Dong A University in collaboration with Sun Wellbening Company, Mikazuki Hotel Joint Stock Company and Mediva Company. The clinic is expected to apply a digital diagnostic imaging and disease system from Japan, and will also be an internship facility for students of Dong A University.
Mr. Luong Minh Sam, Chairman of the Board of Dong A University, said that up to now, the school has sent more than 800 students to work in Japan. Many students after returning have become core personnel at businesses.
On this occasion, Japanese partners also awarded more than 340 million VND in scholarships to students of Dong A University. Many students have participated in direct interviews with businesses, looking for career opportunities in the "land of the rising sun". On May 23, the school also held a graduation ceremony and awarded long-term employment decisions at Aijinkai Social Health Group (Japan) to 31 Nursing students.
