On the morning of June 16, the People's Committee of Thanh Trach commune (Bo Trach district, Quang Binh province) said that a traffic accident had just occurred on National Highway 1 through the area, causing 1 person to die on the spot.
According to initial information, the accident occurred at around 7:50 a.m. the same day.
At the scene, there was an electric motorbike with license plate 73AE-040.xx driven by N.D.A (born in 2009, residing in Thanh Xuan village, Thanh Trach commune); a motorbike with license plate 75B1-053.xx driven by Mr. N.D.D (born in 1988, residing in Lien Trung village, Canh Duong commune, Quang Trach district); and a container truck with license plate 51R-192.xx driven by driver N.X.T (born in 1983, from Ham Thuan Nam, Binh Thuan).
2 motorbikes fell and were damaged, while the container truck has not yet been determined to have a collision or not. As a result, Mr. N.D.D, the motorbike driver, died on the spot.
Immediately after receiving the report, the police force arrived at the scene in time to direct traffic and investigate the cause of the incident.
