On the night of December 29, Hanoi City Police received information about a large fire in Dan Phuong district that evening.
Accordingly, at 6:00 p.m. on December 29, Call Center 114 - City Police Command Information Center received a report from people about a fire at a wood workshop on Thanh Nien Street, Lien Ha Commune, Dan Phuong District, Hanoi.
Immediately afterwards, the City Police urgently mobilized the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force - Dan Phuong District Police, Hoai Duc District Police, Bac Tu Liem District Police, Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 2 - Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Hanoi Police to the scene to coordinate with the authorities, local police forces and people to organize fire fighting.
At the same time, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Hanoi Police mobilized 2 command vehicles to be directly present at the scene to direct forces to deploy fire fighting and search and rescue measures.
After a period of firefighting efforts, by 7:50 p.m. the same day, the fire was basically under control. Firefighters continued to cool and extinguish the fire, preventing it from re-igniting and continuing to search and rescue.
Preliminary determination of the fire affected 10 wood workshops, the burned area was about 400m2; no human casualties were detected, property damage is being counted.
Currently, the City Police Director has directed the Dan Phuong District Police to coordinate with relevant units to investigate, clarify the cause and advise local authorities to urgently overcome the consequences of the fire.
