The incident occurred at around 10:30 a.m. on October 20 at H.T Company on Road 2, Phan Thiet Industrial Park, Binh Thuan Province.
At that time, 2 workers were burned and the company called an ambulance. At the scene, 2 workers had their shirts burned. Their chests, backs and heads were burned black, with many areas of skin peeling off due to burns. The 2 victims were taken to Binh Thuan General Hospital for emergency treatment.
The cause of the incident is suspected to be an electrical short circuit and the police are examining the scene and investigating to clarify the matter.
When the incident occurred, the reporter contacted the Binh Thuan Industrial Parks Trade Union and the Binh Thuan Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs Inspectorate to report the incident. The units are coordinating to handle the incident within their scope and functions.
