Accordingly, the two locations for organizing low-altitude fireworks displays on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025 include: the memorial site of President Ho Chi Minh in Lao Cai ward and the roof of the high-rise mixed-use building - The Manor Tower Lao Cai, Tran Hung Dao Avenue, Bac Cuong ward.
Fireworks will be held from 00:00 on January 29, 2025 (New Year's Eve). Fireworks will last no more than 15 minutes/point. Funding will come from socialized sources.
Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Military Command to preside over and coordinate with Lao Cai City People's Committee and relevant departments and branches to make estimates, order fireworks and develop a Fireworks Plan; ensure security and order, absolute safety, fire prevention and fighting, environmental protection and related regulations in accordance with the Government's Decree.
Lao Cai Provincial Police have developed a plan to ensure security, order, traffic safety, and fire and explosion prevention at fireworks display areas in the area.
