At noon on June 13, the People's Committee of Nhan Trach commune (Bo Trach district, Quang Binh province) said that the authorities and local people are urgently organizing a search for 2 people who went missing while fishing on the Dinh river.
According to initial information, in the early morning of the same day, Mr. N.V.C and his wife, Mrs. T.T.N (residing in Nhan Hai village, Nhan Trach commune) and their son went along the Dinh river, passing through the commune.
After fishing, the child returned home first. However, at around 6am, he did not see his parents return, so he returned to look and discovered that his parents' boat had drifted away, with no one on the boat.
As soon as the information was received, the authorities mobilized vehicles and human resources to organize a search along the Dinh River and coastal areas. However, by noon of the same day, the whereabouts of the couple had not been found.
