The route is about 5.32km long, designed modernly, including 6 lanes, each lane is 3.5m wide; a 3m wide median strip; and a 14m wide sidewalk strip. The road will be completed with items such as foundation, road surface, bridge on the route, sidewalks, trees, drainage system, lighting and protective works. The project will be implemented in the period from 2025 to 2028.
The Cai Rong coastal road project is built to create a traffic axis connecting all tourism, service and resort projects from Phuong Dong Urban Area to Ao Tien International Ship Port, while creating beautiful ecological space and landscape along the coast.
After completion, the Cai Rong coastal road will connect throughout the route on the shore of Bai Tu Long Bay, tens of kilometers long.
Currently, at one end of the Cai Rong Coastal Road Project, the Project to expand Road 334, the section from Ao Tien Golf Course to the intersection between Road 334 and the road to Van Don Complex 2 billion USD is under construction, expected to be completed in 2026.
The project to expand Road 334, the section from Ao Tien Golf Course to the intersection between Road 334 and the road to Van Don Complex, has a total length of 9.5km, a roadbed width of 24-44m, designed with 6 lanes, with an investment capital of VND 2,190 billion.
On this expanded section of Road 334, there have been many projects with great momentum, including the high-end complex tourism service area project with casino with a minimum investment capital of 2 billion USD, which has just been approved by the Prime Minister.
The high-end resort - entertainment complex project, golf course and residential area of Monbay Van Don has a total investment of about 1 billion USD.
Located on this road is also Sonasea Van Don Harbor City Resort Complex, which has been put into operation.
