The People's Committee of Bac Ninh province has just issued a work program for May 2025.
In particular, in the field of natural resources and environment, the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province assigned departments, branches, sectors and localities to focus on implementing the plan of the Provincial People's Committee on strengthening management, inspection, supervision, handling of environmental pollution, fire prevention and fighting and rescue in craft villages, industrial clusters (CCN), and facilities causing serious environmental pollution in Bac Ninh province.
In particular, the immediate focus is on Dai Bai Industrial Park, Phong Khe, Phu Lam.
According to the reporter's investigation, Dai Bai Industrial Park (Gia Binh district) was built in 2002 with an area of 6.2 hectares managed by the People's Committee of Dai Bai commune, with 75 production households.
However, according to the review of the authorities, the craft village and industrial cluster of Dai Bai craft village do not have a centralized wastewater treatment area; there is no waste treatment area from the production of aluminum and copper recycling castings; there is no wastewater self-treatment system.

From March 22 to 28, Gia Binh District People's Committee organized a high-profile campaign with the drastic participation of the entire political system. Up to now, the situation of handling environmental pollution in craft villages and industrial clusters of Dai Bai craft village has achieved very positive results.
Accordingly, the People's Committee of Gia Binh district issued a Decision to handle 3 administrative violations, with a total fine of more than 191 million VND; dismantle all unenviable discharge works (metal-burning blocks, scrap; chimneys); organize 3-phase power cutting of 107 facilities; stop production for 50 facilities with discharge activities that have not completed dismantling or production activities that pollute the environment...
In Phong Khe Industrial Park (Bac Ninh City), as of mid-February 2025, there were 135/137 paper production facilities requesting to stop operations.
However, later, according to the reflection, many paper production and recycling facilities in Phong Khe Industrial Park still secretly operate at night, causing environmental pollution.
At Phu Lam Industrial Park (Tien Du District), enterprises here must stop operating from April 23 to overcome the shortcomings and shortcomings of laws on land, environment, dykes, construction, and fire prevention, according to the conclusion of the interdisciplinary inspection team of Tien Du District.
