The accident occurred at 11:50 a.m. on October 22, at km 298+250, National Highway 32, in Che Cu Nha commune, Mu Cang Chai district, Yen Bai province.
At that time, the truck with license plate 34 C - 254.xx - driven by Mr. D.V.X (residing in Thach That district, Hanoi city) - when reaching the curve at 298+250, National Highway 32, collided with a motorbike with license plate 21K1 - 466.XX driven by L.A.V going in the opposite direction carrying 2 people sitting behind, including T.T.N and H.T.P (both born in 2007, living in Mu Cang Chai district). The consequence was that 1 person on the motorbike died; the other 2 people were injured and were taken to the emergency room by local people.
Immediately after the traffic accident, authorities were present at the scene to direct traffic and investigate the cause of the accident.
