After a working session with a positive and scientific spirit, the scientific workshop "Vice-Chancellor Nguyen Sinh Sac - a lifelong example for the country and the people" ended successfully.
The conference listened to 7 presentations out of 119 presentations, research works... clarifying more clearly the contributions of Uncle Ho as a patriotic Confucian scholar. Especially the great influence of Uncle Ho on the formation of the personality and revolutionary aspirations of the great President Ho Chi Minh, on the land and people of Dong Thap and the affection of the Party Committee and people of Dong Thap for him.
Speaking at the closing ceremony of the workshop, Dr. Dinh Thi Mai - Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, co-chair of the workshop - highly appreciated the experts, scientists, researchers, and leaders of relevant localities who had many articles with high scientific content and new ideas... From many approaches, the presentations summarized the three noble qualities of Mr. Nguyen Sinh Sac - father of President Ho Chi Minh for his service to the country and people.
Firstly, in terms of the patriotic Confucian qualities, the discussions show that after passing the imperial examinations, he resolutely refused to be welcomed by the people and walked back to his village. He also refused to organize a grand celebration. Coming from a Confucian background, he did not let the ideology of "loyalty to the king and patriotism" bind him, but instead upheld the integrity and dignity of a patriot who loved his people, and did not submit to bowing and being a lackey for the feudal colonial government to oppress honest people.
After leaving the officialdom, during his journey to many localities in the southern region of the Fatherland, Nguyen Sinh Sac continued to meet and discuss with many patriotic intellectuals. In those meetings, his patriotism and love for the people had a strong influence, contributing to encouraging and motivating the enthusiasm to save the country and save the people of like-minded friends, especially the young generation...
Second, in terms of his qualities as a person who had a great influence on the formation of President Ho Chi Minh's personality and revolutionary aspirations, the papers provide many documents proving that he was the one who contributed greatly to the formation of the personality and patriotic and revolutionary aspirations of his children, especially the third child: Nguyen Sinh Cung - Nguyen Tat Thanh - Nguyen Ai Quoc - Ho Chi Minh.
He was Ho Chi Minh's first teacher and chose talented teachers with noble personalities for his children to study with. He was a noble example of a father and teacher, and had a profound impact on his children. After passing the Pho bang exam and returning to Sen village, he still maintained a simple, frugal lifestyle, closely attached to the villagers... All of this left a deep impression on Ho Chi Minh's childhood, forming the great ideology of saving the country and saving the people later on.
Third, in terms of the quality of positive influence on the land and people of Dong Thap, the discussions clearly show that Dong Thap is a land of special significance to the life and career of Mr. Nguyen Sinh Sac. During the years of living and working in Dong Thap, he contributed to spreading the spirit of patriotism and compatriotism among the people, urging the next generations to fight, writing the heroic revolutionary tradition of Dong Thap.
The Party Committee and people of Dong Thap also had warm, deep, and affectionate feelings for Mr. Nguyen Sinh Sac. After his death, with infinite respect and sorrow, the people of Dong Thap organized a thoughtful funeral for him. During the wars of national liberation and reunification, the Party Committee and people of Dong Thap resolutely and skillfully protected his grave from the enemy's sabotage attempts.
In memory of and gratitude to Mr. Nguyen Sinh Sac for the land and people of Dong Thap, the Party Committee and people of Dong Thap are constantly striving to successfully complete the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the 11th Provincial Party Congress, aiming to develop the province's socio-economy rapidly and sustainably; constantly improve the quality of life of the people; build a culture and people of Dong Thap that are affectionate, dynamic, and creative; and firmly ensure national defense and security.
