On December 4, in Cao Lanh City, Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee coordinated with the Central Propaganda Department and Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics to organize a scientific seminar on Vice President Nguyen Sinh Sac - father of President Ho Chi Minh.
With the theme "Vice-Chancellor Nguyen Sinh Sac, a lifelong example of dedication to the country and the people", the conference attracted more than 100 delegates, researchers, and experts from many research institutes, universities, and research agencies... inside and outside the province.
Before the opening of the conference, the delegation offered incense at the tomb of the Vice President in Cao Lanh City.

Speaking at the workshop, Dr. Le Quoc Phong emphasized: “The workshop is a practical activity for us to pay tribute to the life of Mr. Nguyen Sinh Sac for his service to the country and people. Especially his great influence on the formation of the personality and revolutionary aspirations of the great President Ho Chi Minh, on the land and people of Dong Thap and the affection of the Party Committee and people of Dong Thap for him”.
According to Dr. Le Quoc Phong, from a remote area with many difficulties, Dong Thap has boldly changed its agricultural production mindset to an agricultural economy, transforming itself to rise up with many good models and effective methods. Those positive values are the result of the process of inheriting and absorbing profound values from the life and career of Vice-Chancellor Nguyen Sinh Sac. Especially the ideology of serving the country, respecting the people, cherishing the people, and serving the people.
At the conference, experts and researchers presented 7 papers to clarify the bases and historical documents on the progressive ideology, noble personality and patriotic and compassionate example of Mr. Nguyen Sinh Sac, which had a profound influence on Nguyen Tat Thanh - Nguyen Ai Quoc - Ho Chi Minh; the process in which Mr. Nguyen Sinh Sac prepared for Nguyen Tat Thanh to go to seek and save the country. From there, they further explained the ideology, personality and example of Mr. Nguyen Sinh Sac to Nguyen Tat Thanh - Nguyen Ai Quoc - Ho Chi Minh as well as his influence on the construction and development of his homeland Dong Thap.
Previously, in the series of workshop activities, on the afternoon of December 3, a discussion session also took place. With 3 topics, the workshop received 31 presentations, the comments focused on analyzing and clarifying the reasons why Mr. Pho Bang Nguyen Sinh Sac chose Cao Lanh as the place to live in the last years of his life. At the same time, the silent contributions of Mr. Pho Bang to Cao Lanh land were also clarified.
