According to Lao Dong Newspaper reporters, the Project to Overcome Erosion of the Ngan Sau River Bank through Village 2 and Village 5, Ha Linh Commune is currently being implemented by the Joint Venture of Hoang Long and Hoang Lai Companies with maximum machinery and human resources to speed up the construction progress after completing 100% of the site handover.
The implementation of this project is very practical for the people of village 2 and village 5, Ha Linh commune, living on the banks of the Ngan Sau river. Therefore, when the project was approved, through propaganda and mobilization by the government, the people were very supportive.
Mr. Bui Ngoc Du - Chairman of Ha Linh Commune People's Committee - said that the Ngan Sau River embankment project through Village 2 and Village 5 of Ha Linh Commune brought excitement to the people. Therefore, during the site clearance process, all 32 affected households donated land with a total area of over 3,200m2.
Nguyen Anh Tuan - Director of the Project Management Board of Construction Investment of Huong Khe district - informed that the Project to overcome landslides on the banks of Ngan Sau river through village 2 and village 5 of Ha Linh commune has a length of 1.5km invested by the People's Committee of Huong Khe district.
The project has a total investment of 65 billion VND. Of which, 60 billion VND comes from the central budget to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, and 5 billion VND is counterpart capital from the People's Committee of Huong Khe district.
After completing the procedures and selecting the contractor, the Project will be implemented from November 1, 2024. According to the schedule, the project must be basically completed by December 31, 2024 to be able to disburse the Central Government's public investment capital in 2024; by January 31, 2025, the entire project must be completed to disburse local capital.
“Fortunately, the project received the consent of the people, who donated 100% of the land affected by the project. We only compensated for assets and trees on the land with a total cost of more than 2 billion VND. Thanks to that, we were able to hand over 100% of the site early so that the contractor could speed up the construction progress,” Mr. Tuan shared.
According to Mr. Tuan, with such a tight deadline, the joint contractor Hoang Long and Hoang Lai Company is currently focusing on speeding up the construction progress in 3 shifts and 4 crews. The Ngan Sau River Bank Erosion Repair Project through Village 2 and Village 5, Ha Linh Commune is one of seven natural disaster recovery projects from the Central reserve budget in 2023 being implemented in Ha Tinh.
Recently, the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province has repeatedly issued documents urging the progress of these 7 projects to promptly disburse the central government's support capital before December 31, 2024.
