Hanoi - From January 1 to January 4, 2026, AI cameras detected 674 cases of vehicles violating traffic laws.

On the evening of January 4, information from the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) - Hanoi City Police, from 0:00 on January 1, 2026 to 18:00 on January 4, 2026, through the AI camera system, the unit recorded 674 cases of traffic order and safety violations in the city.

According to statistics, among the detected violations, there are 348 cases of cars and 326 cases of motorbikes.

The main violations include: not complying with traffic light signals, using a phone while driving, not wearing a helmet and some other violations.

Through monitoring on the surveillance camera system in the City, as of 7 pm on January 4, 2026, the capital's gateway routes have a large traffic volume, moving slowly but orderly and stably through intersections.

Traffic police forces coordinate with grassroots police to regulate and divert traffic, traffic lights at key traffic intersections are adjusted according to the appropriate cycle; traffic conditions are basically smooth, no conflicts occur at key intersections and bus stations, and traffic participants basically strictly comply with the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety.

Hanoi Traffic Police Department recommends that traffic participants strictly comply with the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety; comply with traffic light signals, do not use phones when driving, wear standard helmets when riding motorbikes and motorcycles, contributing to ensuring safety for themselves and the community.
