Initial information said that at 10 pm on January 4, 2026, a house of a household on Nguyen Van Loc street (belonging to My Phuoc Tay ward, Dong Thap province) rented to the family of Mr. T.T.D (born in 1989, permanent residence in Vinh Phuc province) caught fire.
At the time of the fire, the homeowner couple was away, and there were 2 young children born in 2017 and 2018 in the house.
When the house was caught on fire, the My Phuoc Tay ward police force coordinated with people to quickly arrive at the scene, break down the door to put out the fire and take the 2 children to the emergency room. However, the fire killed 2 children in the house.
