According to statistics from the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) - Hanoi City Police, from 6:00 PM on December 31, 2025 to 6:00 PM on January 1, 2026, through the AI camera system, this unit recorded 109 cases of traffic order and safety violations in the city.
Among the detected violations, there are 31 cases of cars, 78 cases of motorbikes. The main violations include: not complying with traffic light signals, using phones while driving, not wearing helmets and some other violations.


Implementing the plan to ensure traffic order and safety during the 2026 New Year holiday, the Traffic Command and Traffic Light Control Team - Hanoi Traffic Police Department has proactively arranged forces to be on duty, strengthening traffic monitoring at key routes and intersections.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Truong Song Thanh - Head of the Traffic Command and Traffic Light Control Team, the unit strengthens 24/24 hour traffic monitoring through the AI camera system to monitor the situation, promptly detect and handle complex traffic situations; and record violations of traffic order and safety as a basis for handling according to regulations.
Hanoi Traffic Police Department recommends that traffic participants strictly comply with the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety; comply with traffic light signals, do not use phones when driving, wear standard helmets when riding motorbikes and motorcycles, contributing to ensuring safety for themselves and the community.
