On the morning of November 19, the People's Committee of Ninh Kieu district held a ceremony to announce Resolution No. 1192 of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units of Can Tho city, period 2023 - 2025 and launch the administrative apparatus of the newly established Thoi Binh ward.
At the ceremony, Mr. Chau Viet Tha - Director of the City Department of Home Affairs - announced the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units of Can Tho City, period 2023 - 2025.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Duong Tan Hien - Permanent Vice Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee - acknowledged, highly appreciated and commended the efforts of the collective of relevant agencies, units and localities in advising on the arrangement of administrative units of 4 wards of Ninh Kieu district to successfully complete the task in the recent past.
Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Duong Tan Hien suggested that in the coming time, the city's departments and branches continue to support Ninh Kieu district; Party committees at all levels, authorities, the Fatherland Front, and organizations continue to unite, make efforts, and focus on promoting information and propaganda work on the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee; propagate and implement the conversion of documents for individuals and organizations; note that no fees or charges are collected when converting due to changes in administrative boundaries.
The arrangement and consolidation of the organizational structure of agencies and organizations must ensure the principles of unity and synchronization, meeting the requirements of preparation for Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term and the election of People's Council delegates at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.
Party committees and district and ward authorities regularly closely and promptly grasp the thoughts and aspirations of cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees and workers; pay special attention to cases of redundancy when implementing administrative unit rearrangement.
The Department of Finance and the Department of Construction urgently coordinate with the People's Committee of Ninh Kieu District to continue reviewing, advising on the arrangement, management and use of headquarters and public assets of agencies and units after the rearrangement in accordance with regulations.
