Accordingly, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Nga - Chairwoman of the Women's Union of Ninh Kieu District - was elected Chairwoman of the People's Committee of Thoi Binh Ward.
Speaking at the ceremony, the new Chairwoman of Thoi Binh Ward People's Committee, Nguyen Thi Hong Nga, said that this is a great honor and pride, as well as a very important responsibility that the Party Committee and the Ward People's Council have entrusted her with.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Tien Dung - Chairman of the People's Council of Ninh Kieu District (Can Tho City) stated that the arrangement of administrative units of wards in the district aims to contribute to streamlining the apparatus, improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the operations of the grassroots government.
The Chairman of the Ninh Kieu District People's Council requested the Thoi Binh Ward Party Committee to urgently stabilize the organization; ensure the political system operates and functions well in the coming time. The Chairman of the People's Council of Ninh Kieu district emphasized that after the reorganization, the Fatherland Front government and the ward's associations and unions will propose making and engraving a seal, and at the same time notify the new seal model before use in accordance with the provisions of law.
The arrangement of commune-level administrative units in Ninh Kieu district, Can Tho city is carried out by merging the entire natural area and population size of An Phu, An Cu, and An Nghiep wards into Thoi Binh ward.
After the arrangement, Can Tho City has 9 district-level administrative units and 80 commune-level administrative units.
It is expected that at 9:00 a.m. on November 19, the People's Committee of Thoi Binh Ward will hold a ceremony to officially announce the new Thoi Binh Ward's inauguration.
